Mitsubishi Corporate Event
Mitsubishi Corporation is Japan’s largest trading company. Mitsubishi Corporation employs over 60,000 people and has seven business segments, including finance, banking, energy, machinery, chemicals and food.
The Brief
The lovely people at Mitsubishi Corporation asked us to join them for a day out on Temple Island at Henley Regatta. They were holding a corporate event to say thank you to various clients and staff members and they asked us to create a video to document the day.
Henley was a filmmakers dream with loads going on. The sights, sounds, colours and drama were a thrill to behold. We took a very long lens which helped us get the close up shots of the rowers from a distance.
We wanted to see the grimaces on their faces as they competed in the heat. It was a stinking hot day and we were exhausted just from carrying the gear around so I don’t think we would have faired well in a rowing competition. We used time-lapse shots, GoPro shots, a Movi and a few hyper-lapses to create the event video.
