Bloomon is a London-based, Holland born subscription flower delivery service.
Bloomon came to us to develop an online ad for an upcoming Facebook ad campaign. The purpose of the ad was to engage a whole new audience of UK females 30 to 50 years old. The key requirement of the video was to deliver a thumb stopping video that would grab the viewer’s attention from the very beginning.
We tested several versions of the edit on Facebook and went with the version that yielded the best engagement results.
To create a thumb stopping video we had our actor break the fourth wall. We started the video with a pair of eyes looking out from behind some beautiful flowers. We designed an ad that would use extremely simplified sales text on screen to communicate the concepts underlying the service. This meant that the video would also work in a soundless social media environment.
The client was so pleased with the results that we created multiple versions in three languages for broadcast across European TV Channels.
