Bold Content recently teamed up with Coca Cola’s 5by20 campaign to create a series of branded content videos telling the stories of how independent business women around the world have changed their lives for the better.

Coca Cola’s campaign seeks to empower women worldwide by giving them the necessary skills to build a successful business and a sustainable community.

By 2020 they hope to have helped 5 million women across their global value chain.

The videos capture the stories of female entrepreneurs from all over the world, showing how they have acquired new skills and applied them to a business. In the process, they have transformed not only their own lives but also the lives of those around them.

5by20 seeks to provide women with the knowledge and confidence to build their businesses and create a new future for themselves; giving them independence, freedom, and confidence. From bakers and shopkeepers to recyclables collectors these remarkable women, these wives, mothers, and grandmothers, have challenged social, cultural and economic barriers to earn a living and support their loved ones.

The Bold Content Team was fortunate enough to meet these incredible women and record their truly inspiring success stories. Though most of the businesswomen featured have faced extreme hardship in their lives the focus here is on the positive; what has changed for the better, what they are able to do now, how they transformed their lives through hard work, entrepreneurship, and caring enough about something or someone to make a difference to their own lives and the lives of others.

From countries as disparate as Indonesia, South Africa, Brazil and the Philippines there is a common theme that links all these women; helping the family, supporting loved ones, funding education, and working towards sustainability. Their success comes from determination, a willingness to try and work hard in order to succeed, to make things better.

They all have a vision, an end goal, an incentive. They are an example, their efforts truly noble, their success inspiring and their stories remarkable. Let everyone take a leaf, no, make that a branch from these ladies books!
