Client: Outokumpu

Founded in 1908 Outokumpu is one of the world’s leader in the production of stainless steel. Headquartered in Finland they employ more than 11,000 people and operate in over 30 countries. In 2015 Outokumpu delivered more than 2.3 million tonnes of stainless steel.

Brief: Event Video For Annual Conference

The aim of this project was to create an event video for this stainless steel manufacturer’s annual conference in the UK.

Process: Filming The Conference

We worked with the Outokumpu PR Manager, who showed us the key people to interview, we then asked their set questions, along with our own questions to elicit responses that not only delivered key messages but also got across how interested people were in the subject matter and how grateful they were that Outokumpu hosted the event. We used a mixture of talking head interviews, cutaways of the plenary sessions and key moments from the presenters on the main stage.

One of the main aims for the event video was to use it for an internal communications newsletter needed to highlight certain key customers and show how much Outokompu value face-to-face communication with employees. The client was extremely happy with the video we produced for them and gave us a glowing testimonial:
