Gozo – Working for a sustainable Gozo

The Brief

One of Coca-Cola’s key corporate social responsibility programs is water scarcity. We were asked to document this in the Maltese Island Gozo, and how it impacts the local farming community.

In this video, we find out how locals are working towards a sustainable way of living and working.

The Maltese Islands form the most water-poor country in the European Union. Due to their small size and limited rainfall, freshwater resources are very limited, while demand is high to cover the dense population and diverse water uses.

Alter Aqua is a multi-stakeholder programme aiming to tackle these water scarcity issues by mobilising Non-Conventional Water Resources (NCWR). As part of this project, we also created a mini website to house all of the content and explain the project more fully.
