3D Animated Software Demo

Colt launched a new software product and asked us to create a 3D animated software demo video to explain how the software will benefit customers.

We took them through our standard procedure which started with a strategy session to determine the goals and metrics of success.

By aligning our creative ideas with business goals from the start, we were able to save time, budget, and make every frame count towards hitting their KPIs.

Our Process:

Style Frames

We worked with our animation department to create style frames which mocked up our visual ideas, giving the client plenty of opportunities to feedback on our suggested creative direction.

Storyboard

The storyboard showed how we would translate the script visually. It was like a comic book version of the film where still images showed how we would align the visuals with the dialogue. 

Animation
We animated in 3D software using light and shade to ad depth and texture. 

Sound Design
We added a professional voiceover and sound effects to accompany the images.
