Getsmarter

Case Study

We have been working closely with Getsmarter, a leading educational technology company, since 2019. Over this period we have worked on eLearning projects with leading Universities like Oxford, Cambridge and The London School of Economics.

We have proactively looked for ways to improve the workflow from project to project and have found many ways to improve the service and our value add which has forged a close and strong relationship with them.

We filmed this testimonial video for Getsmarter’s management course in Cologne Germany.

During our creative strategy process with our client we clarified the key messages and outcomes. Then, prior to the shoot we held a call to align all participants on the key messages and to go over our working practices.

The client had a dedicated Producer as their specific point of contact throughout the project. Our Producer created a detailed schedule which let them know well in advance when they were required to give feedback on the edit.

We created a ‘look book’ which is a comprehensive guide for videographers to follow when on-set. This defined the framing, lighting, mic placement, where the interviewee should look, how the A cam and B cam should be framed and the background we are looking for along with all the technical details about frame rates, resolution etc. This enabled us to align everyone involved with the agreed outcomes.

The shoot was fully organised by our producer and a call sheet was sent to all participants, along with a risk assessment. This kept everyone on the same page.

We received this testimonial from Getsmarter:

“You guys are rockstars. Thank you for your hard work and for setting the standard against which we measure other external teams.”
