The brief
Minelab were immediately impressed with our previous projects that showed the high-quality of what we can achieve with a small, cost-effective crew. We were asked to cover their Detectival event, which takes place annually and is popular with keen metal detector hobbyists. The event included a livestream of the launch of Minelab’s latest product.
Event Video
When Minelab got in touch with us, we sent them previous examples of our event videos and they were impressed with the fast-paced editing, innovative use of drone shots, and high-quality finish of our colour grading.
We used three camera people, a drone, and a pistol grip gimbal to capture the action. A fast-paced music track was essential to underscore the action that took place at the event. The drone footage added a wow-factor and gave great production value to the finished video. It was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro and colour graded on DaVinci Resolve. The client was delighted with the finished product and will be promoting it on their social channels to their avid fans.
