London Bridge City
Christmas by the River
We worked with London Bridge City on their magical ‘Christmas by the River’ storytelling experience. For this project, we were inspired by the work of animator Lotte Reiniger and the craft of light-boxes, which is where a light is placed behind layers of paper to create silhouettes. We used the concept of paper-cutouts in each stage of the animation, including how we brought the animals to life. We love working within this fairytale world where traditional folklore Christmas characters are contrasted against the modern skyline of London.
Within the first three months of launch across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook they received 13,6k views and 298 interactions.
